Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up in the veterinary world and around horses, I always knew I wanted to do something in my career involving my love for animals. When I starting learning about dog training at 13, I knew right away I had found my passion! At 14, I started working at a training facility and from there fell in love with building relationships between dogs and their owners!
In my free time, I work with my 4 year old German shepherd Jax, doing Competition obedience/Rally, Protection training, Service dog training, Competition frisbee, scent work and just about every AKC sport you can think of! He has traveled extensively and been on countless flights with me...my perfect sidekick. He is my heart and soul dog and has taught me every thing I know. I have competed with other trainer's dogs, have done rescue train and rehomes and puppy raising as well. My passion and love is building the perfect Companion for their perfect home!

I have always loved animals from the time I was a little girl. Different decades have been spent working with wildlife, livestock, and companion animals (sometimes all at once!). My entire life has been dedicated to veterinary medicine as well as rehabilitation and rescue work. Breed education and preservation have also played a key role in my life.
I believe that having a successful, lifelong relationship with your fur family member starts with solid ground work and training at an early age. Establishing the basic essentials is paramount to avoiding future failures! Developing Perfectly Paired Pets has been an absolute labor of love, pairing together Myla and Loni's expertise and dedication with pets that want to please!

Dogs have been at the center of my life and work for over 20 years. My career began in professional dog training, where I specialized in early puppy development and building strong behavioral foundations. I have bred Dutch Shepherds, assisted in raising Malinois litters, and currently raise English Bulldogs, giving me experience across both working and companion breeds.
A significant part of my journey has been working in rescue rehabilitation, where I saw firsthand how a dog’s earliest experiences shape their confidence, resilience, and ability to thrive. That work profoundly influenced my approach to breeding and raising puppies. Today, every puppy I raise is guided by intention—focused on proper socialization, emotional stability, and thoughtful early experiences that prepare them for life as confident, well-adjusted family members. My mission is not just to produce puppies, but to raise dogs with strong minds, steady temperaments, and a lifelong foundation for success.
